SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University volleyball team played its final home match of the 2019 season against Bethel University on Wednesday evening, falling to the Pilots 3-0 on Senior Night.

Prior to the match, the Cougars honored their two seniors, Sydney Ritz and Maggie Watson, for their four years as part of the program.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS

• Allison Nibbelink led the Cougars in kills with six while Sydney Ritz followed with five and Kyara Black added four. Hope Notter and Emily Martin combined for 19 assists.
• Ritz posted a team-high 12 digs. Sarah Chastain and Paige Porter chipped in nine digs apiece. Black had a match-best six blocks while Nibbelink finished with four.

Spring Arbor will close out the 2019 season on the road with games at Goshen College (7-25, 1-14 CL) on Friday, Nov. 1 and at the University of Saint Francis (20-11, 11-5 CL) on Saturday, Nov. 2.
