Nowe's late home run not enough in loss to Huntington

HUNTINGTON, Ind. – Jade Nowe hit a game-tying two-run home run in the top of the seventh inning, but Huntington University was able to push across the winning run in the bottom half of the inning to deal the Spring Arbor University softball an 8-7 setback in game one of Tuesday's doubleheader.

In game two, trailing 4-0 in the seventh, the Cougars loaded the bases with two outs, but the Foresters escaped the jam with no damage to sweep the twin bill.
