SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – In a battle of two Top 25 programs, No. 16 University of Northwestern Ohio defeated the No. 4 ranked Spring Arbor University women's soccer team 2-0 on Friday night at the Cougar Soccer Complex.
UNOH's Jeweleen Reuille scored a goal in each half to deal the Cougars their second straight setback.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Spring Arbor generated a couple scoring chances in the first 20 minutes. In the seventh minute, after a scramble in the box, the loose ball ended up at the feet of Alyvia Thorne, but her shot went just wide. About 10 minutes later, a blast from Rebekah Cotton from 20 yards out was stopped by the diving UNOH goalkeeper.
- The Racers grabbed the lead in the 27th minute. A long ball from Agnes Stefansdottir went over the top of the SAU defense and Reuille chased it down before chipping a shot over goalkeeper Samantha Tracey.
- Reuille tallied her second of the night in the 63rd minute to help clinch the game for UNOH.
- Northwestern Ohio finished with 10 shots while Spring Arbor registered six. Both teams had three corner kicks.
- Tracey and Emily Ponstein combined to make five saves.

- Spring Arbor moves to 3-2-1 all-time against Northwestern Ohio.

Spring Arbor will play two more ranked teams over the next eight days. The Cougars travel to Columbia, Kentucky to take on No. 6 Lindsey Wilson College (2-1-0) on Thursday, Sept. 12 before facing off against No. 7 Martin Methodist College (2-0-0) on Saturday, Sept. 14.
