Women's Basketball falls on the road at Grace

WINONA LAKE, Ind. – The Spring Arbor University women's basketball team fell on the road 85-47 at Grace College on Wednesday night.

The Lancers got off to a hot start, outscoring SAU 30-16 in the first quarter, and never looked back.

Anne Marie Wright was the leading scorer for Spring Arbor with 16 points. Grace Shoobridge finished with nine points and seven rebounds while Teona Feldpausch added eight points and a game-high 11 rebounds.

  • Grace shot 63 percent (12-for-19) from the field with six 3-pointers in the first quarter on the way to building a 30-16 lead.
  • Kyannah Stull led the charge early for the Lancers, scoring 17 first half points as the home team built a 47-25 lead at halftime.
  • The Lancers refused to let the Cougars back in the game in the second half on the way to their 13th victory of the season.
