SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – Leading by two at halftime, the Spring Arbor University women's basketball team pushed the margin to double-digits with a strong third quarter and held on to defeat Goshen College 60-53 on Wednesday night at the McDonald Athletic Center.
Spring Arbor led 24-22 at halftime, but used a 10-0 run during the third quarter - a period where SAU outscored Goshen 24-15 - to break the game open.
Teona Feldpausch was one of four Cougars to score in double figures, posting 15 points, including 11 during the third quarter. Gracie Cabana followed with 15 points while Cierra Lipps and Anne Marie Wright added 12 apiece.
