Men’s Basketball drops conference opener at Bethel

MISHAWAKA, Ind. – The Spring Arbor University men's basketball team started Crossroads League play with an 86-72 setback against Bethel University on Friday night.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS
  • A red-hot first half was enough to carry Bethel to its first Crossroads League win on Friday night. The Pilots shot 23-for-33 overall in the first 20 minutes and 7-of-13 from 3-point range.
  • Brandon Durnell scored 22 points and grabbed eight rebounds while Daniel Cluster added 21 points and nine boards. Nate Flannery finished with 14 points and seven assists.
  • Bethel was led by 21 points from TreVion Crews.
