Game Recap: Women's Basketball |

Women's Basketball falls on Senior Day

SPRING ARBOR, Mich. -- The Spring Arbor University women's basketball team fell to Mount Vernon Nazarene University 62-44 on Saturday.

With the win, MVNU improved to 11-9 on the season while Spring Arbor dipped to 4-6 overall.

Grace Shoobridge recorded her second double-double of the campaign with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Before the game, the Cougars recognized three seniors, Gracie Cabana, Teona Feldpausch and Anne Marie Wright, for their contributions to the program.

"These three young ladies all have very different strengths and passions," said head coach Ryan Frost. "Even with the inconsistency of our schedule this year, they have been consistent in their work ethic and attitude. They have each shown incredible commitment to our basketball program and their teammates. The sacrifice and effort they have put in has changed our program. The common denominator with all three is the incredible and supportive families they have. Thank you to the Cabana, Wright and Feldpausch families for your support and sacrifice over the past four years."
