FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Spring Arbor University baseball team split the first two games of its four-game set with the University of Saint Francis. The Cougars defeated USF 8-5 in the opener, but were defeated 6-3 in game two.

GAME 1 HIGHLIGHTS
- Spring Arbor and Saint Francis were tied 3-3 entering the ninth inning when SAU erupted for five runs, highlighted by a two-RBI hit by Brennan Moran.
- Saint Francis battled back in the home half of the ninth, scoring twice, but SAU held on to take the first game of the series.
- Four Cougars finished with two hits, including Glenn Miller, who was 2-for-2 with two RBI's and a run scored.
- Cade Kontny was credited with the win on the mound. Kontny pitched 2.0 innings of relief allowing one earned run.
GAME 2 HIGHLIGHTS
- Spring Arbor jumped on top 3-0 in game two. Zach Kraabel delivered an RBI double in the second inning, and Miller and Peyton Harding recorded RBI hits in the third.
- Saint Francis tied the score with three runs in the bottom of the third. The home team plated three more runs in the fourth to pull ahead 6-3.
- Miller picked up two more hits while Brant Mast went 2-for-4 at the plate with a run scored.
