SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University softball team lost both ends of a doubleheader against Goshen College on Saturday. The Cougars fell 10-6 in the first game and 9-1 in the nightcap.

GAME 1 HIGHLIGHTS
- After falling behind 2-0 in the top of the first, Spring Arbor erupted for six runs in the home half of the inning – highlighted by a Kaitlynne Allen three-run double.
- Goshen battled back, however, scoring four runs in the second to tie the score, 6-6.
- The Maple Leafs added runs in the fourth, fifth and sixth innings while silencing SAU's bats to take game one 10-6.
- Jade Nowe was 3-for-4 with an RBI while Allen finished the game 2-for-2 with three RBI's.
GAME 2 HIGHLIGHTS
- Goshen held a 4-1 lead after four innings, but broke the game open with five runs in the fifth.
- The Cougars were limited to four hits including a double by Sarah Matlock and an RBI single by Abbey Lafler.
