LIVONIA, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University volleyball extended its winning streak to five with a pair of wins on the first day of the Madonna University Julie Martin Memorial Classic.
The Cougars opened with a 3-1 win over Roosevelt University and cruised past the University of Michigan-Dearborn 3-0.

- Nibbelink had double-digit kills, finishing with 12, to lead the Cougars. Peters had nine and Ellis, who hit at a blistering .636 clip, chipped in eight. Notter posted 28 assists and nine digs.
- Churchwell and Emily Johnson anchored the defense with 10 digs apiece. Johnson also added three aces.
