HUNTINGTON, Ind. – The Spring Arbor University volleyball team suffered a five-set loss to Huntington University in its Crossroads League opener on Wednesday night.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
- In the fourth set, Spring Arbor trailed 13-12, but a 9-0 run helped secure the set for the Cougars and force a fifth set.
- Huntington took command early in the fifth set, racing out to an 11-3 advantage and held on for the win.
- Alison Nibbelink and Alison Ford finished with double digit kills. NIbbelink had 14, along with eight blocks, while Ford recorded 12 with 15 digs.
- Hope Notter also recorded a double-double with 37 assists and 14 digs.
UP NEXT
Spring Arbor will compete in the Siena Heights Tournament this weekend. The Cougars will open the tournament Friday, Sept. 3 against Roosevelt University and Oakland City University.
