SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University volleyball battled its way to a five-set victory over Huntington University on Saturday inside the McDonald Athletic Center.
The win improves the Cougars to 10-12 overall and 3-7 in the Crossroads League while Huntington drops to 8-11 and 3-7 in league play.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
- Three Cougars posted double-digit kills. Allison Ford finished with a match-high 17 while McKenna Peters followed with 15 and Claudia Ellis had 14 with a .464 hitting percentage.
- Hope Notter and Hayden Fortress combined for 61 assists. Notter also added nine digs and three service aces.
- The defense was anchored by Frances Churchwell, who finished with 19 digs. Emily Johnson picked up 18 and Ford collected 16. Ellis had team-best eight blocks while Macey Rupp had six and Sarah Eliason and Alison Nibbelink recorded four each.
- Huntington was led by Tya Bynum's 14 kills and setter Morgan Robrock handed out 52 assists.
