SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The No. 4 ranked Spring Arbor University women's soccer team defeated No. 24 University of Northwestern Ohio 2-0 on Wednesday night at the Cougar Soccer Complex.
The win is the fifth straight for the Cougars, who improved their record to 5-0-1 on the season.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
- Spring Arbor scored two goals within a minute span in the first half. In the 26th minute, a cross from Lexi Ponstein found Kaylee Beekel in the box. After Beekel's initial shot was stopped, Mackenzie Selvius was there to put away the rebound. Less than 60 seconds later, Ariana Stoltzfus found the back of the net on a free kick from just outside the 18-yard box.
- Spring Arbor held a 21-8 advantage over UNOH in shots, and an 8-4 edge in corner kicks.
- Samantha Tracey and Emily Ponstein combined to make three saves in the shutout. It was the fifth straight clean sheet for the Cougars.
