PALOS HEIGHTA, IL. – Spring Arbor University volleyball started the match by losing the first set, but quickly overcame their deficit by winning the next three sets to take the match over Trinity Christian College 3 sets to 1. The Cougars opened with a four-set loss to Judson University before coming back and defeating Trinity Christian to split the day.


MATCH HIGHLIGHTS

• Spring Arbor dropped the first set to begin its match against Trinity Christian, but the Cougars didn't quit.
• The Cougars stormed back, rattling off 4 consecutive points to start the second set, including two service Aces from Emily Johnson.
• Later on in set two the Cougars went on an eight-point run, with 3 Kills by Arika Hasty and 2 Kills by Sarah Eliason, to eventually win the set.
• Spring Arbor continued to roll as they run away with sets two and three, eventually winning the narrow fourth set 25-21. 
• Alison Nibbelink finished with 13 Kills followed by Kendall Bollenbacher with 12 and Sarah Eliason had 11.
• Hayden Fortress and Kenady Cox handed out a combined 45 assists and Kendall Bollenbacher finished with 15 digs.
