ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University men's basketball team earned a 72-70 victory on the road at Concordia University on Saturday.
Gabe Newhof recorded a double-double for the second straight game with 20 points and 13 rebounds while
Austin Braun finished with 19 points, including 15 in the second half.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- After trailing 40-39 at halftime, Spring Arbor opened the second half with an 8-2 scoring run.
- Spring Arbor held the lead until the 12:19 mark when Concordia capped an 8-0 run of its own to jump in front.
- The lead changed hands several times over the next seven minutes before back-to-back buckets from Kevyn Robertson gave SAU a 63-59 advantage.
- The Cougars were clinging to a one-point lead with less than two minutes to play when Eli White knocked down a clutch 3-pointer to stretch the lead to four, 70-66. Braun would sink two free throws in the closing seconds to help seal the victory.
- Newhof turned in his fifth double-double of the season with 20 points and 13 rebounds. Braun finished with 19 points and five assists while White and Travis Grayson added 10 points apiece.
