SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – Spring Arbor University outscored Goshen College 36-24 over the final 20 minutes on Saturday, fueling a 72-67 come-from-behind victory.
Gabe Newhof paced the Cougars with 24 points and 10 rebounds while
Travis Grayson and
Austin Braun scored 15 points each.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- There were 13 lead changes over the first 14 minutes of the game until an 8-0 run late in the half helped give Goshen a 43-36 halftime lead.
- Goshen maintained its lead throughout most of the second stanza, but Spring Arbor continued to fight and claw its way back. The Maple Leafs were clinging to a four-point lead with 6:44 remaining, but a 3-pointer from Braun and layup from Grayson gave SAU its first lead since the 7:16 mark of the first half.
- The Cougars held a one-point lead in the final minute, and a bucket from Newhof and two clutch free throws from Kevyn Robertson clinched the victory.
- Newhof registered his third double-double of the season with 24 points and 10 rebounds.
- Braun had seven assists and four rebounds to go along with 15 points while Grayson also added 15 points and five assists.
- Goshen's Caleb White had a game-high 28 points while going 6-for-9 from 3-point range.
