OWENSBORO, Ky. – The Spring Arbor University baseball team swept a non-conference doubleheader with Goshen College on Monday. The Cougars defeated the Maple Leafs 9-2 in game one before posting a 3-0 shutout in game two.

GAME 1 HIGHLIGHTS
- Spring Arbor led 4-1 after four innings before breaking the game wide open with five runs in the fifth.
- Landon Raczkowski led the way going 3-for-3 with a home run, two runs scored and four RBI's. Bryce Richey was 2-for-2 at the plate and scoring twice.
- Jon Williams got the start on the mound and tossed three scoreless innings while striking out seven batters. Ryan Ruhlman earned the win pitching three innings and giving up two runs on two hits while fanning four batters.
GAME 2 HIGHLIGHTS
- Three Cougar pitchers combined to shutout Goshen over seven innings in game two. Hunter Nielsen worked three innings without surrendering a hit and striking out six batters. Cade Kontny, who earned the win, followed with three innings and Brant Mullins closed the game to pick up the save.
- Raczkowski collected two hits. Ben Redfield had a hit and two runs scored while Richey and Brant Mast recorded RBI's.
