SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University baseball team scored 34 runs Tuesday on its way to a 34-8 victory over Rochester University.
 
The 34 runs are the second-most scored in a single-game in SAU history behind 35 scored in a 35-1 win over Valley Forge Christian in 2012.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS
	- Peyton Harding helped Spring Arbor get off to a good start with a two-run home run as part of a three-run first inning.
- Rochester fought back and grabbed a 5-4 lead after the top of the fourth.
- Spring Arbor broke the game wide open in the bottom of the fourth inning, however, plating 12 runs in the frame – highlighted by a Brandon Haynes grand slam.
- The Cougars were not done there, scoring two runs in the fifth inning, three in the seventh and 13 more in the eighth.
- Spring Arbor pounded out 22 hits with six Cougars recording multiple hits. Evan Lorey went 4-for-6 with two doubles, six RBI's and two runs scored while Landon Raczkowski also went 4-for-6 with five runs scored and five RBI's. Harding and Haynes also finished with five RBI's.
- Josh Murphy earned the win on the mound giving up one run on two hits with three strikeouts in three innings of relief.
