SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University baseball team defeated the University of Michigan-Dearborn 7-4 in a non-conference game on Tuesday afternoon at Hank Burbridge Field.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- Michigan-Dearborn jumped on top early with four runs in the second inning.
- Spring Arbor got one run back in the fourth inning on a solo home run by Evan Lorey.
- An inning later, the Cougars plated three runs to even the score.
- Spring Arbor took the lead in the sixth inning following back-to-back RBI doubles by Bryce Richey and Landon Raczkowski. Later in the frame, Brandon Martell capped the scoring with a steal of home.
- Richey was 3-for-4 on the afternoon with two RBI's and two runs scored. Raczkowski, Redfield and Brandon Haynes all had two hits apiece.
- The SAU bullpen did its job posting seven scoreless frames. The combination of Dylan Trick, Josh Murphy, Sam Nagelvoort, Sean Cassel and Aaron Spry limited the Wolverines to zero runs and only three hits over the final seven innings while fanning five batters. Nagelvoort earned the win on the mound while Spry worked a perfect ninth to pick up the save.
