COLUMBIA, Ky. – The No. 2 ranked Spring Arbor University women's soccer went on the road and posted a 4-0 victory over No. 15 Lindsey Wilson College on Saturday.
The Cougars now have five shutouts in five matches to begin the season – three of those clean sheets coming against top 25 ranked opponents.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
- After 41 minutes of scoreless play, Spring Arbor registered three goals in less than eight minutes of game time to break things wide open.
- Mackenzie Selvius and Ariana Stoltzfus scored less than one minute apart in the closing minutes of the first half. Selvius scored in the 42nd minute and Stoltzfus followed in the 43rd.
- Following the halftime break, Lexi Ponstein found the back of the net in the 50th minute to give SAU a 3-0 advantage.
- Lauren Marshall capped the scoring with her second goal of the season in the 61st minute.
- Spring Arbor peppered Lindsey Wilson with 29 shots while limiting the home team to just 11 attempts. The Cougars also held an 8-3 advantage in corner kicks.
- Goalkeepers Blair Currie and Rachel Tanielian combined for eight saves.
