CORAOPOLIS, Pa. – The No. 2 ranked Spring Arbor University women's soccer team scored early and often in its matchup with Point Park University on Saturday en route to a commanding 5-0 victory.
Mackenzie Selvius, who finished with two goals on the afternoon, recorded the first of four first half scores just over four minutes into the match.
The win improved Spring Arbor to 4-0-2 on the season and extended the team's shutout streak to six matches. The Cougars are one of only two programs in the country to have not allow a goal yet this season.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
- Selvius got the scoring started in the fifth minute finishing a cross from the reigning Crossroads League Defensive Player of the Week Ariana Stoltzfus.
- Just over 10 minutes later, Selvius would get the assist on a goal from Madison Marshall.
- Madalyn Freitas and Shelby Marshall added first goals as well to give the Cougars a 4-0 lead heading into halftime.
- Selvius and Stoltzfus connected once again in the 58th minute to put SAU ahead 5-0.
- Spring Arbor held a 25-5 advantage in shots and a 5-1 edge in corner kicks.
- Blair Currie stopped the only shot she faced to help give the Cougars their sixth shutout of the season.
