SPRING ARBOR, Mich. –
Fara Serra scored in the 18th and 80th minutes to lead the No. 2 ranked Spring Arbor University women's soccer team past Taylor University 3-1 on Saturday at the Cougar Soccer Complex.
The win keeps the Cougars unbeaten on the season and at the top of the Crossroads League standings.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
- Serra put the Cougars on the scoreboard in the 18th minute when she put away a perfectly served corner kick from Ariana Stoltzfus.
- SAU would take a 2-0 lead into halftime following a goal by Lauren Moellering – her first goal of the season.
- Taylor got within one after finding the back of the net in the 69th minute, but Serra would strike again 10 minutes later with a past from the top of the 18 to put the game away.
- Spring Arbor ended the evening with a 15-4 shot advantage and earned six corner kicks compared to Taylor's one.
