SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The No. 2 ranked Spring Arbor University women's soccer team celebrated Senior Night with a 9-0 victory over visiting University of Saint Francis on Wednesday evening at the Cougar Soccer Complex.
Seven different players scored for SAU, including
Isa Martinez, who recorded the first hat trick of her career.
Following the match, the Cougars recognized five seniors for their contributions to the program –

Ariana Stoltzfus,
Lauren Moellering,
Lauren Marshall and
Fara Serra.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
- Spring Arbor scored the only goal it would need less than five minutes into the contest. Sydney Wright played a cross into the box and Isa Martinez would blast a shot past the Saint Francis goalkeeper.
- Martinez collected her second goal of the night just before halftime to give SAU a 2-0 advantage at the intermission.
- The Cougars broke the game wide open in the second half, scoring seven times, including a third of the night for Martinez to give her the first hat trick of her career. Lauren Marshall, Megan Mihaly, Kaylee Beekel, Paige Beaudry, Shelby Marshall and Alexa Johnson would also find the back of the net.
- Spring Arbor finished the match with a 27-2 advantage in shots.
- Goalkeeper Reagan Kohler stopped the only shot she faced to help give SAU its 11th shutout of the season.
