SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Spring Arbor University men's cross country team earned a second place finish in the 16-team field at the Bethel University Invitational on Friday.
Camden Khon and
Jacob Singleton led the way for the Cougars. Khon turned in a season-best time of 25:41 to grab ninth place overall out of nearly 200 runners. The freshman's time ranks as the 21st-best performance in program history. Singleton also etched his name in the SAU record books, posting a career-best time of 25:52 – tied for the 24th-best mark.
Indiana Wesleyan took home first place while Spring Arbor logged its best team time of the season – 2:10:26 – on the way to grabbing second place behind the No. 1 ranked Wildcats.
