Stout pitching leads the way as Cougars sweep Pilots

MISHAWAKA, IN. – The Cougars continued their winning ways, sweeping Bethel on the road to push their winning streak to three games.

The Cougars were led by their starting pitchers in both games, and Emmalee Hamp and Elena Jones both pitched complete games on the afternoon. Hamp's effort in game one was her best effort this season. She struck out 15 batters and only allowed five hits in the win.

Their prowess on the mound allowed for the Cougar offense to get going, as it took until the third inning before the Cougars scored runs in either game.
