In game two, the Cougar offense woke up. They managed to record 10 hits in the game and scored 8 runs off those hits.

They came bursting out of the gates, scoring six runs in the first inning to create a cushion and cruise to victory. By the time it was all said and done, the Cougars had taken the second game, 8-1.
