Late game heroics from freshman propel Cougars to victory

Spring Arbor, MI. – The Spring Arbor softball team wrapped up their season series with the Huntington Foresters, with both games finishing with a one run separation.

In game one, The Cougars got late game heroics from freshman Lexi Cain, who broke a 2-2 tie with a solo shot in the sixth inning. They would go on to win 3-2.

The second game, the Cougars saw themselves down 5-2 early, and nearly got a rally going that took them the lead, as a two-run fifth inning saw them pull within one. It would not be enough, however, as they would go on to lose 4-5.
