FORT WAYNE, IN. – Spring Arbor finished their season series versus the University of St. Francis, leaving Fort Wayne having been unable to take either games in the final series.
The Cougars jumped to an early 3-2 lead following a solo homerun from
Landon Raczkowski, but saw St. Francis respond in a big way, as they put up 11 unanswered runs to defeat Spring Arbor 13-3.
In game two, the Cougars conceded five runs in the second inning to find themselves in an early hole that extended the majority of the game. They got a glimmer of hope in the top of the seventh inning when
Ben Redfield launched a 3-run homerun to cut the deficit to two runs, but it would not be enough as Spring Arbor lost 5-7.
