SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University volleyball team rallied back from an 0-2 deficit to defeat Lourdes University 3-2 (22-25, 22-25, 25-12, 25-21, 15-6) in its home opener on Wednesday night.
The win moves the Cougars to 4-5 on the season while Lourdes dropped to 0-1.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
- Lourdes edged out Spring Arbor in two very close sets to begin the match.
- The Cougars, backed by a raucous crowd inside the MAC, showed their resilience and claimed the next three sets to win their home opener.
- Kendall Bollenbacher and Mikenna Kwiatkowski led the attack with 13 and 11 kills, respectively. Setters Hayden Fortress and Camy Wedge combined for 34 assists while also collecting 15 digs apiece.
- Freshman Keely Hinzman finished with four aces and seven blocks to go along with five kills.
