CROWN POINT, Ind. – The Spring Arbor University men's soccer team secured a 2-1 victory over Governors State on Thursday afternoon to remain unbeaten on the young season.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
- After a scoreless first 40 minutes, Rood Schnaider found the back of the net just before halftime to give Spring Arbor a 1-0 lead at the intermission.
- The Cougars doubled their lead in the 65th minute when Josh Madery scored his first career goal with an assist from Jack Voight.
- Governors State cut the deficit in half in the 80th minute, but SAU held on to stay unbeaten.
- Governors State finished with 15 shots while Spring Arbor tallied 13.
