SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The No. 2 ranked Spring Arbor University women's soccer team opened Crossroads League play with a 4-1 victory over Bethel University on Saturday night at the Cougar Soccer Complex.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
- Regan Ramirez and Lauren Marshall each scored in the first 30 minutes to help give Spring Arbor a 2-0 lead at halftime.
- Bethel cut the deficit in half with a marker in the 56th minute, but the Cougars responded with a goal of their own less than three minutes later to regain a two-goal advantage. A free kick from Ariana Stoltzfus found Kaylee Beekel in front of the goal, and Beekel headed the ball past the keeper.
- Jocelyn Hendricks added a late goal to give SAU the 4-1 victory.
- Spring Arbor collected 17 shots compared to Bethel's nine.
- SAU goalkeeper Blair Currie made six saves on the night.
