OWENSBORO, Ky. – The Spring Arbor University softball team wrapped up its season-opening road trip with a 4-0 win over Brescia University on Friday.
Only five innings were completed before the game was called off because of rain in the area. Game two of the scheduled doubleheader was also canceled.
The Cougars capitalized for four runs in the first two innings on five Brescia miscues. That was all the run support
Emmalee Hamp needed as the senior pitcher threw five scoreless innings to pick up her first win in the circle this season.
