SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University women's basketball team dropped its final game of the regular season, falling to the University of Saint Francis 74-58 on Saturday.
The Cougars head into the postseason at 22-6 overall with a mark of 13-5 in the Crossroads League.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- Saint Francis came out of the gates hot, hitting five 3-pointers in the first quarter and grabbing a 24-15 lead after the first 10 minutes of play.
- Spring Arbor settled in the second quarter and cut the deficit to two, 31-29, at the 4:39 mark of the period, but the visitors went on a 9-0 to close out the quarter and take a 40-29 advantage into halftime.
- In the third quarter, Saint Francis put the game out of reach, outscoring SAU 22-12.
- Spring Arbor was limited to one of its lowest offensive outputs of the season and held to 29 percent shooting while Saint Francis connected on 55 percent of its shots.
- Alex Long was the leading scorer for SAU with 21 points while Alana Nelson finished with 11.
