SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University baseball dropped a pair of games to No. 9 ranked Taylor University at Hank Burbridge Field on Monday.
The Cougars fell 13-1 in game one and 12-2 in game two of the doubleheader.

GAME 1 HIGHLIGHTS
- Taylor jumped on top with three runs in the top of the first inning.
- Holding a 3-1 lead in the fourth, the Trojans played add-on plating six runs to pull ahead 9-1. The visitors added another run in the sixth and three in the seventh.
- Aiden Brunin went 3-for-3 at the plate and scored the lone SAU run.
- Trammell Lindstrom suffered the loss on the mound surrendering six runs in 3.2 innings pitched.
GAME 2 HIGHLIGHTS
- Taylor wasted no time getting on the scoreboard again in game two of the afternoon. The Trojans scored seven runs on eight hits in the first inning.
- That was all the run support the TU pitching staff would need as three pitchers combined to no-hit the Cougars.
- Colin Snyder pitched five innings of scoreless relief before surrendering three runs in the seventh inning. He struck out seven batters in his five-plus innings of work.
