SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University baseball team defeated Grace Christian University 9-6 on Tuesday under the lights at Hank Burbridge Field.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- A seven-run third inning helped Spring Arbor jump out to an 8-0 lead after three innings.
- Grace Christian clawed its way back with two runs in the fourth inning. The Tigers closed the gap to two, 8-6, after plating four runs in the seventh.
- An RBI groundout by Connor Dee added an insurance run for the Cougars in the bottom of the seventh.
- SAU pitchers Josh Murphy and Kyler Hinken halted the Grace Christian rally with scoreless eighth and ninth innings.
- Jake Zeeb collected two hits and two RBIs to lead the offense. Seth Clothier also had a hit and two RBIs.
- Ryan Ruhlman picked up the win on the mound working three shutout innings with two strikeouts. Hinken earned the save with his perfect ninth inning while fanning two.
