SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The No. 9 ranked Spring Arbor University women's soccer team defeated Saint Xavier University 4-1 on Saturday evening at the Cougar Soccer Complex.
Lauren Marshall had a pair of goals in the victory while
Annika Arsenault and
Claire VanZanten also found the back of the net.

- Annika Arsenault recorded her first goal of the season to help give SAU a 1-0 lead after the first 45 minutes. The Cougars added to their lead with a goal from Claire VanZanten in the 55th minute.
- Saint Xavier responded less than a minute later to cut the deficit in half.
- Two goals from Lauren Marshall in the final 20 minutes of the match put the game out of reach.
- Marshall has scored three goals in the last two games and now leads the team with four goals on the season.
- Kaylee Beekel had two assists on the night while Fara Serra and Maislin Joldersma were credited with one apiece.
- Spring Arbor outshot Saint Xavier 12-5 and earned seven corner kicks while SXU registered one.
- Goalkeeper Reagan Kohler made three saves.
