SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University baseball team finished out its sweep of the University of Michigan-Dearborn on Saturday with a 4-3 win in game one of the doubleheader and a 9-0 shutout in game two.

GAME 1 HIGHLIGHTS
- Jake Spedoske gave Spring Arbor a 2-0 lead following his two-RBI single in the bottom of the second inning.
- Freshman Brenden Phillips led off the fourth inning with a triple and Jaeden Rodriguez followed with a sacrifice fly to right field to give SAU a 3-0 advantage.
- After being shutout through the first five innings by starter Josh Murphy, Michigan-Dearborn was able to push three runs across in the sixth to tie the score.
- Spring Arbor walked-off with the win in the bottom of the seventh when Landon Raczkowski worked a bases loaded walk to allow pinch-runner Kyle Kantola to cross the plate for the winning run.
- Murphy went 5.1 innings on the mound giving up three runs on four hits while striking out four. Colin Snyder earned the win with 1.2 innings of shutout relief and fanning two batters.
GAME 2 HIGHLIGHTS
- Spring Arbor jumped on top quickly in game two of the twinbill. Raczkowski got the scoring started with a two-RBI double and Connor Dee followed with a double of his own to bring home Raczkowski.
- The Cougars added five more runs in the third to put the game out of reach. Raczkowki ripped another RBI double and Ryan Gonzalez had an RBI single. Spedoske capped the inning with a bases loaded double to drive in three.
- Raczkowski went 2-for-2 at the plate with two doubles and four RBIs. Gonzalez also finished with two hits while driving in one.
- Trammell Lindstrom was outstanding on the mound tossing five shutout innings in the win. He allowed just four hits while striking out eight batters. Ryan Ruhlman and Blake Worst each pitched a scoreless inning of relief.
