SPRING ARBOR, Mich. –
Travis Grayson poured in a season-high 31 points to lead the Spring Arbor University men's basketball team to an 85-75 victory over Lawrence Tech on Tuesday night inside the McDonald Athletic Center.
Spring Arbor picked up its second straight win and is now 2-2 on the young season.

GAME SUMMARY
- Grayson, just two points shy of his career-best, powered a Cougar offense that shot 47 percent from the field and went a perfect 21-for-21 from the free throw line. Shane Rykse added 19 points, connecting on four 3-pointers, while David Cundiff filled the stat sheet with 14 points, eight rebounds and five assists.
- Spring Arbor led throughout much of the first half and took a 43-35 lead into halftime after an Aden Zank 3-pointer in the closing seconds.
- Lawrence Tech closed the margin to one, 49-48, in the opening moments of the second stanza. However, the Cougars withstood the LTU charge and began to widen the gap using a 15-2 run over the next five minutes to take control of the game.
