MARION, Ind. – The Spring Arbor University volleyball team saw its Crossroads League Tournament run come to an end Wednesday night, falling 3-0 to top-seeded, and No. 8 ranked, Indiana Wesleyan University in the semifinal round.

It was a clash between the league's top offensive team in Indiana Wesleyan and the league's top blocking team in Spring Arbor. The Cougars battled the nationally ranked Wildcats point-for-point in a tightly contested opening set before the hosts pulled away late to take control of the match.
Kelsie Lilly led the Cougars with eight kills while
Isabelle Kirkendall and
Kendall Bollenbacher added six apiece. In addition to her six kills, Bollenbacher picked up six digs, putting her over 1,000 for her career.
Keely Hinzman anchored SAU's presence at the net with eight blocks, continuing her standout season as one of the league's top defenders.
Spring Arbor, now 23-10 overall, will await a possible at-large berth to the NAIA Volleyball National Championship when the tournament field is announced on Monday, Nov. 17.
