SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – Spring Arbor women's basketball opened its home slate in emphatic fashion on Saturday afternoon, rolling past Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College 106-49 inside the McDonald Athletic Center.
The Cougars delivered one of the most dominant performances in program history – scoring their most points in a game since at least 2006 – on the way to improving to 5-0 on the season.
Every Cougar who checked into the game scored, and six players reached double figures in the balanced offensive outburst.
Haven Chapman led the way with 17 points while
Madison Sonsini added 15.
Alayna Kulesza finished with 14 points and
Rachel Reichard provided a team-high 6 rebounds as SAU dominated the glass and the paint.
Spring Arbor opens Crossroads League play at home against Huntington University (4-2) on Wednesday, Nov. 19 starting at 5 p.m. from the McDonald Athletic Center.
