SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University volleyball team closed out the regular season with a 3-1 win over Huntington on Wednesday night at the McDonald Athletic Center.

Scores: 25-19, 21-25, 25-11, 25-19
Spring Arbor opened the night by taking the first set 25-19 and looked to be in control in set two up 17-11. However, Huntington battled its way back to claim the second frame and even the match.
The Cougars bounced back in a big, winning set three in commanding fashion, 25-11, and followed it with a convincing 25-19 win in set four to secure the match.
Spring Arbor hit .214 on the night while limiting the Foresters to a .075 hitting percentage.
Kelsie Lilly racked up a career-high 18 kills to lead the way while
Kendall Bollenbacher registered a double-double with 12 kills and 13 digs.
Keely Hinzman finished with 10 kills and seven blocks.
Camy Wedge handed out 35 assists and
Palmer Fortress anchored the back row with a match-high 29 digs.
Spring Arbor (22-9, 9-9 CL) has won three of its last four matches heading into postseason play, and will be the No. 5-seed in the upcoming Crossroads League Tournament. The Cougars will travel to Upland, Indiana to take on No. 4-seed Taylor University (20-10, 11-7 CL) in the quarterfinal round on Saturday, Nov. 8.
