HUNTINGTON, Ind. – The Spring Arbor University women's basketball team dropped a Crossroads League battle on the road against Huntington University 91-70 on Saturday.
Alana Nelson picked up her 12th double-double of the season with 33 points and 11 rebounds.
Alayna Kulesza finished with nine points, eight boards and three steals.

GAME NOTES
- The score was tied 6-6 early, but Huntington would go on a 10-0 run and never surrender the lead.
- Spring Arbor trailed by as many as 13 in the first half but continued to fight and closed the gap to four, 62-58, with 3:00 left to play in the third quarter. However, the Foresters would go on another lengthy scoring run to put an end to SAU's comeback attempt.
- Alana Nelson recorded her third 30-point performance of the season, leading all scorers with 33. She also grabbed 11 rebounds to notch her 12th double-double.
- Megan Zeitz had 10 points and Alayna Kulesza followed with nine points, eight rebounds and three steals.
- Spring Arbor was held to 32 percent shooting on the afternoon while Huntington shot 52 percent. The Foresters had a 49-36 advantage in rebounds and also outscored SAU 56-26 in the paint.
