Reynolds qualifies in the mile, Emmendorfer shatters school record

INDIANAPOLIS – Spring Arbor University's Dean Reynolds qualified for his third event at the NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships on Saturday while running at the Fairgrounds Invitational in Indianapolis.

The Jackson, Michigan native crossed the finish line in 4:09.71.

Camden Khon was close behind in fifth place with a time of 4:10.80. Khon qualified for nationals in the event earlier this season.

Along with the men's mile, Tanana Emmendorfer competed on the women's side in the 400 meters. The freshman from Adrian, Michigan finished eighth with a school record time of 57.61. She was also just 0.12 seconds from a national qualifying time.
