MARION, Ind. – The Spring Arbor University women's track & field team finished seventh at the Crossroads League Outdoor Championships, held on the campus of Indiana Wesleyan University.
The Cougars turned in seven All-Crossroads League performances, including two from
Kylie Brown in the 200 meters and 400 meters while also setting a new SAU record in the 200.
Hope Taylor and
Alyssa Budd posted top-3 finishes in individual events, as well as earned a spot on the podium as members of the 4x100 meter relay team. Joining Taylor and Budd on the relay team were
Lonna Perna and
Shailin Golden.
Jennifer Sherwood shattered her own school record in the hammer on the way to earning All-League honors, and
Allison Teed also posted a new PR in the heptathlon while securing an All-League finish.
Along with the two new program records set by Brown and Sherwood, the Cougars notched five additional new SAU Top 10 performances.
Marian University claimed its fifth straight conference title.
