SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – Spring Arbor University's Gabe Newhof has been named to the 2024-25 NAIA Men's Basketball All-America Third Team, the national office announced Monday.

Newhof led Spring Arbor back to the NAIA national tournament for the first time in five years and helped the Cougars record their first 20-win season since the 2019-20 campaign. The junior forward also claimed his third straight All-Crossroads League honor while leading the team in scoring for the third consecutive year averaging 21.5 points per game, which ranked second in the Crossroads League. The Hudsonville, Michigan native had four 30-point performances this season, including a 36-point effort against Grace Christian.

Through his first three seasons, Newhof has scored 1,911 points – currently the ninth-most in SAU history.
