SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The 2024-25 Academic All-America men's track & field/cross country teams have been announced by the College Sports Communicators and Spring Arbor University's
Camden Khon received Second Team All-America honors for his combined accomplishments on the track and in the classroom.
Khon, a secondary education major, had an outstanding sophomore campaign where he earned NAIA All-American status in four events – the mile, 1500 meters, and as a member of the distance medley relay and 4x800 meter relay teams. He also garnered All-Crossroads League honors in the 800, 1000 and the indoor and outdoor 4x800.
Along with his accolades on the track, Khon helped lead the men's cross country to a first place finish at the Crossroads League Championship this past fall – the program's first conference title in 20 years.
In his two seasons at SAU, Khon has become a six-time NAIA All-American and a six-time All-Crossroads League performer.
The CSC Academic All-American teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their performances on the track, in the field, and the classroom. To be considered for the award, student-athletes must hold a minimum 3.50 GPA, achieve at least sophomore academic status, and reach certain performance thresholds in their respective track events or cross country races.
CSC Academic All-American honors are voted on by CSC members from around the nation. To be eligible for the honor, student-athletes must first be selected as CSC Academic All-District performers, after being nominated by their institution's Sports Information Department.
