Men's Tennis Tops Saint Francis in League Play

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Spring Arbor University men's tennis team earned a 5-2 victory over the University of Saint Francis on Friday in Crossroads League action.
 
With the win, Spring Arbor improves to 6-6 overall and 1-1 in conference play.
 
The Cougars secured the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 2. Aziz Madatov and Andrei Negrut teamed up for a 6-4 victory at the top spot while Jaume Riera Galindo and Daniel Rodriguez Fortes matched that score at No. 2 doubles.
 
In singles play, Spring Arbor picked up four wins to secure the team victory. Madatov battled to a three-set win at No. 1 while Riera Galindo earned a straight-set victory at No. 2. Rodriguez Fortes added a three-set win at No. 3, and Caleb Kaytar sealed the match with a three-set triumph at No. 6.
