MISHAWAKA, Ind. – The Spring Arbor University women's tennis team fell 5-2 to No. 22 Bethel University on Saturday in Crossroads League action.
 
With the result, the Cougars move to 6-9 overall and 1-2 in conference play.
 
Bethel secured the early advantage by sweeping all three doubles matches to take the doubles point.
 
Spring Arbor responded with strong efforts in singles play, picking up wins at the top of the lineup. Moorea McNalley earned a 7-5, 6-3 victory at No. 1, while Victoria Herrington battled to a three-set win at No. 2, 4-6, 6-3, 7-5.
 
Despite those efforts, Bethel secured four singles victories to clinch the team win.
