SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University men's tennis team fell 5-2 to Indiana Wesleyan University on Monday in Crossroads League action at the Jones Tennis Complex.
 
With the result, the Cougars move to 7-8 overall and 1-3 in conference play.
 
Indiana Wesleyan claimed the early advantage by winning two of the three doubles matches to secure the doubles point. Aziz Madatov and Andrei Negrut earned a convincing 6-1 victory at No. 2 doubles for Spring Arbor's lone win in doubles play.
 
In singles, the Cougars picked up two victories. Daniel Rodriguez Fortes delivered a strong performance at No. 3 with a 6-2, 6-0 win, while MacKinley McNalley added a dominant 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 5.
 
Despite those efforts, Indiana Wesleyan secured wins in four singles matches to clinch the team victory.
