NORTHVILLE, Mich. – The No. 25 ranked Spring Arbor University men's cross country team opened the 2026 season at the Tommy Titan vs. W The Warrior Cross Country Classic, hosted by the University of Detroit Mercy, on Saturday.
Spring Arbor finished in third place behind only NCAA Division I Detroit Mercy and NCAA Division II Wayne State University.
Jack Bruder paced SAU in the four mile race, crossing the finish line in 21:11 to earn ninth place overall in a field of more than 70 runners.
Luke Morehouse and
Chase Hobson were close behind in 10th and 12th place, respectively. Morehouse clocked in at 21:12 and Hobson finished in 21:23.
